Position: Electronics Sr. R&D Engineer
Experience: 8 – 12 years
Location - Udaipur
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics R&D Engineer specializing in hardware design and product development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hardware Design & Development
• Lead the design and development of analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware for embedded systems.
• Design circuits based on 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers for instrumentation and control applications.
• Select appropriate electronic components based on electrical, thermal, and application requirements.
• Develop schematics and PCB layouts (multi-layer, high-density) ensuring signal integrity, reliability, and manufacturability.
2. Interfaces & Connectivity
• Design analog interfaces using ADC, DAC, operational amplifiers, and signal conditioning circuits.
• Implement digital interfaces such as UART, I²C, SPI, PWM, RTC, DFU, and various display interfaces (LCD, OLED, TFT).
• Work with microprocessors and high-speed interfaces — USB, Ethernet, DDR, eMMC, MIPI CSI, and DSI.
• Design and validate digital wired interfaces — RS-232, RS-485, USB, Ethernet, and wireless interfaces — Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa.
3. Power & Compliance
• Design and validate power supplies, including switching regulators (SMPS) and LDOs.
• Ensure EMI/EMC-compliant designs that meet industrial and regulatory standards.
• Conduct power optimization, transient analysis, and thermal validation for high-reliability operation.
4. Prototyping, Testing & Validation
• Perform board bring-up, functional testing, and PoC (proof of concept) evaluations.
• Troubleshoot and debug both hardware and firmware-related issues .
• Handle internal testing as well as field issue analysis and resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including design files, test reports, and revision histories.
5. Collaboration & Process
• Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and product design teams for integrated development.
• Participate in design reviews, DFM/DFT analysis, and continuous product improvement.
• Contribute to defining technical roadmaps for next-generation instrumentation and sensing systems.
Qualifications
• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Altium Designer / OrCAD / KiCad / EasyEDA or similar PCB design tools.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation, temperature sensing, or embedded control systems preferred.
• Knowledge of design standards, reliability testing, and environmental compliance is a plus.
