Role: Senior Developer (CS CORE)
Location: Hyderabad
Working Days: 5 Days (Sat & Sun Week Off)
Introduction
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join our Customer Service CORE (CS CORE) team.
The CS CORE team is responsible for maintaining, improving, and modernizing the core applications and services powering Customer Service operations across the company.
This includes:
a. Nexus – our in-house Customer Service Order Management Portal
b. Customer Service microservices and APIs
c. Integrations supporting:
• Zendesk
• chatbot platforms
• AI-powered Customer Service applications and more
As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, maintainable, and highly reliable systems that directly support Customer Service operations worldwide.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and has strong experience with modern JavaScript ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Nexus and Customer Service domain microservices.
• Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems and migration toward modern architecture and frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Build and maintain frontend functionality using Vue.js and Vuetify.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by:
a. CS AI applications
b. chatbot platforms
c. Zendesk integrations and more
• Contribute to decoupling and redesigning existing monolithic services into domain-oriented microservices.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers to ensure CI/CD, monitoring, and observability best practices.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve system stability and reliability.
• Ensure high standards in:
a. code quality
b. automated testing
c. documentation
d. maintainability
• Contribute to automated testing strategy and engineering best practices.
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Improve system observability using tools such as Datadog.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and engineering quality.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience with:
a. JavaScript / TypeScript
b. Node.js
c. Vue.js
d. REST APIs
e. microservices architecture
• Experience with:
a. Vue 3
b. Vuetify
c. modern frontend development practices
• Experience building and maintaining scalable backend services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
• Experience with:
a. Docker
b. Kubernetes
c. CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with:
a. Elasticsearch
b. event-driven systems
c. asynchronous architectures
• Strong experience in:
a. debugging
b. incident resolution
c. performance optimization
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, preferably Datadog.
• Active usage of AI-assisted engineering tools such as:
a. GitHub Copilot
b. Anthropic Claude Code
c. Microsoft Copilot
d. Cursor AI
e. or similar
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
Nice to Have
• Experience modernizing legacy applications.
• Experience with:
a. Kafka
b. Google Pub/Sub
c. distributed systems
• Experience in eCommerce or Customer Service technology domains.
• Experience with:
a. Zendesk
b. chatbot platforms
• Familiarity with Java or Spring Boot ecosystems.
• Experience being part of cross-functional international teams.
• Experience with permission/role-based systems and operational tooling.
