JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Senior Food Technologist Reporting to: Company Directors
Location: Pune (with frequent client site visits) Company Overview: Beyzon Foodtek Pvt. Deliver significant improvement in manufacturing capacity, food Safety Quality & profitability.
Role Overview: This position requires sound knowledge & applicability of food technology and food engineering principles. Hands on experience of Quality Control & Quality Assurance in Food Industry, with exposure in, In-process Quality Control, Physical & Chemical Analysis of raw materials – packaging materials & finished goods. Exposure to various Food Manufacturing Processes is desired. Provide guidance and support in improvement of QA-QC Practices and in improvement of Manufacturing Processes at client’s factory.
Experience & Qualifications
• 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC within the Food/FMCG industry, including 3–4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality systems, and food regulations.
• Hands-on implementation of HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Experience with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, or AIB standards.
• Knowledge of food ingredients, additives, product labelling, and export quality requirements.
• Experience in product development and process improvement will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and review Food Safety & Quality Management Systems.
• Conduct quality audits, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and process improvement initiatives.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, yield, and cost optimization.
• Lead product innovation, recipe development, and technology adoption.
• Finalize process specifications, raw material, packaging material, semi-finished, and finished product specifications.
• Support selection, installation, and commissioning of food processing equipment.
• Provide technical solutions for food manufacturing projects.
• Conduct training on Food Safety, GMP, GHP, HACCP, and ISO 22000.
• Prepare project MIS reports and participate in project review meetings.
