Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SEO Executive to support the execution of SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) activities for client projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing on-page, off-page, technical SEO, AI search optimization strategies, and content optimization to improve website visibility across Google Search, AI-powered search engines, and generative platforms.
Department - Digital Marketing / SEO
Reporting To - SEO Project Manager / SEO Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute on-page SEO activities including meta tags, heading optimization, internal linking, schema implementation, and content optimization.
- Support GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) initiatives to improve visibility on AI-driven search platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Perform keyword research, search intent analysis, and competitor research.
- Optimize website content for both traditional search engines and AI-generated search experiences.
- Work on content structuring, entity optimization, FAQs, topical authority, and semantic SEO strategies.
- Handle off-page SEO activities including backlink building, citations, and outreach.
- Conduct regular website audits and identify technical SEO issues.
- Coordinate with content writers and developers for SEO and GEO implementation.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, crawl performance, and AI visibility trends.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, AI search trends, and emerging SEO technologies.
Required Skills:
- Basic to intermediate understanding of SEO concepts.
- Knowledge of on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and content optimization.
- Understanding of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI search behavior.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple execution tasks within deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Mass Media, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
- Freshers with strong SEO/GEO knowledge can also apply.
