Key Responsibilities- 1. Category Management- Own and manage merchandising for 2–3 assigned categories across B2B stores
- Plan product assortment, pricing, and stock allocation based on sales trends and store needs
- Monitor category performance and drive actions to improve sell-through and profitability
- Ensure high availability of fast-moving SKUs while minimizing stock-outs and overstock
2. Store Merchandising & Execution- Ensure correct product placement and adherence to planograms
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to maintain merchandising standards
- Collaborate with store teams to enhance product visibility and customer experience
3. Inventory & Supply Coordination- Work with supply chain and warehouse teams for timely replenishment
- Track stock levels, aging inventory, and drive liquidation strategies
- Support demand planning and forecasting
4. Cross-Functional Coordination- Partner with store/front-end teams for promotions, launches, and campaigns
- Assist in seasonal merchandising and product launch planning
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting- Track key KPIs: sales, stock turns, inventory health, liquidation
- Prepare reports and generate actionable insights
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency
Experience Required- 3–8 years in retail merchandising
- Background in B2B retail, FMCG, non-apparel, or modern trade preferred
- Experience managing multiple categories and working cross-functionally
Core Skills- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Stakeholder and coordination ability
- Knowledge of merchandising and inventory management principles
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/retail systems
Preferred Skills- Experience in B2B/wholesale retail environments
- Hands-on experience in store merchandising execution
- Proven track record in improving category performance
