What makes the role meaty?
I. End-to-End Payroll Management:
- Managing the entire payroll process from collation of inputs to sending data to the payroll vendor.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
II. Payroll Validation and Accuracy:
- Validating payroll data to ensure correctness before processing.
- Handling attendance, leave of absence (LOP), and meal voucher calculations accurately.
III. Timely Payments:
- Ensuring payroll processing is done on time to facilitate timely salary payments to employees.
IV. Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, Finance) regarding payroll-related matters.
- Addressing queries and providing timely updates.
V. Exit Management and Full & Final Settlement:
- Managing the payroll aspects of employee exits, including full and final settlement calculations and payments.
VI . Income Tax and Compliance:
- Having a good understanding of income tax laws related to salaries.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax-related documents. VII. PF, ESI, and LWF Management:
VIII. Legal Compliance:
- Good knowledge of state and central labor laws relevant to payroll and employee benefits.
- Handling issues related to PF, ESI, Professional Tax (PT), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) effectively.

- 3-6 Years of Experience
- Have excellent knowledge in excel.
- Have the ability to manage large data.
- Have an understanding and coding complex excel formulas.
- Have demonstrated technical Knowledge (Labour law, HR Operations etc)
