Role Description
- Oversee day-to-day financial and accounting operations
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage budgets and monitor expenses
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Handle GST-related work including returns and reconciliation
- Work on Tally for accounting entries and reports
- Prepare Manufacturing Account as part of Final Accounts
- Coordinate with internal teams for financial data and requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Identify and streamline accounting processes for efficiency
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and budget preparation
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with a strong grasp of financial reporting
- Experience in tax compliance, audits, and regulatory adherence
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CA is preferred
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the fashion or creative industry, is a plus
