Greetings from Tesslogs,
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Test Lead to lead and optimize the testing function for enterprise-scale applications and data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, managing end-to-end QA delivery, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring high-quality product releases across Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies across complex enterprise applications and data platforms.
- Lead testing activities across Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Plan and manage testing scope, sprint/release testing, resource allocation, and QA governance.
- Design scalable and reusable automation and manual testing frameworks across multiple teams.
- Manage test lifecycle activities including requirement traceability, test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Perform and support various testing types including:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- SIT
- Regression Testing
- Smoke/Sanity Testing
- UAT Support
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
- Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting framework and testing issues.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise QA standards, tools, and frameworks.
- Mentor and coach team members on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.
- Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery.
- Drive continuous process improvements and testing optimization initiatives.
- Lead distributed/virtual teams across geographical and cultural boundaries.
Technical Skills.
- Strong SQL and database testing expertise.
- Experience working with:
- Relational Databases
- Data Warehouses
- NoSQL Databases
- Expertise in complex query writing, data validation, and large dataset processing.
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure SQL
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Azure Synapse
- SAP HANA
- Strong scripting/programming expertise in:
- Python
- SQL
- Spark SQL
- PySpark
