Broad outline of the Role
As part of Tata Communications Data Practice, Developer (Qlik Sense/Power BI) in Visualisations team will be responsible for the analysis,design and development of the Qliksense/PowerBi reports
Responsibilities
- Hands on design & development experience in Qliksense Reporting following the process.
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards.
Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
- Excellenct in Qlik Scripting
- Knowledge in DAX language for SSAS/PowerBI
Strong MS SQL programming skills (SQL skills).
Building Analysis Services reporting models.
Some experience in Qlik view or Tableau is a good plus.
- Communicate effectively with both business, technical stakeholders
Preparing complete documentation for the dashboard/Model developed.
- Analyze and optimize performance of the models/Dashboards.
- Ability to work independently to implement a solution with minimal guidance.
Interested to upskill and adapt to new learnings
Qualifications / Experience
- 2-3 years Information Technology and Demonstrate experience with Agile (Scrum) and DevOps software development methodologies. Good Knowledge in SDLC life cycle and processes followed.
- Demonstrated experience with the following:
- QlikSense
- QlikSense Reporting and Dashboarding
- Mashups creation using HTML/CSS,JS
- Experience in QAP
- Power BI/SSAS
- Developing data flow for reporting in SSAS and Developing dashboards in Power BI
- SQL Job Scheduling/Procedure Analysis
- Implementation of Reporting Data flow
- Performance tuning
- RDBMS concepts and principles with advanced PL/SQL skills
- Knowledgeable in Teradata,Oracle and Postgres
- SFDC Concepts understanding is a plus
Skills
- Demonstrated experience implementing Reporting Capabilies:
- Qlik Sense is a must
- Html,CSS,JS
- Power BI
- SSAS Tabular models
- Strong SQL skills and ability to analyse and backtrack for related issues.
- Results driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work Independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent Communications skills
