The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the operations, stability, and performance of a large enterprise customer network leveraging Versa SD‑WAN. This role demands strong technical expertise in service provider–grade routing, switching, and WAN technologies, along with disciplined operational execution in a 24×7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end operational ownership of a large-scale customer network based on Versa SD‑WAN
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and enterprise routing environments
- Support and maintain Layer 2 switching infrastructure, primarily Juniper switches
- Perform continuous network monitoring to ensure availability, performance, and fault isolation
- Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ticketing systems with strict adherence to processes
- Ensure stringent SLA compliance and lead resolution of high-priority incidents
- Participate in 24×7 rotational shifts to support business-critical operations
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to preventive and corrective improvements
- Demonstrate continuous learning and adaptability to emerging networking technologies
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Versa SD‑WAN
- Deep knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and L2/L3 networking
- Experience with Juniper switching platforms
- Proven experience in enterprise or service-provider network operations
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate with 0-4 years of experience
Other Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstration of problem-solving skills
- Prior experience of providing customer service support in fast paced, high availability, 24X7 environments.
- Maintain awareness of latest technologies in the domain
