LPL is seeking an
AWS Engineer to join our CRM Technology team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, hands-on engineer with strong expertise in cloud-native data platforms, and enterprise data engineering. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data and API solutions that support key business initiatives within CRM. As a senior engineer, you will work closely with technical leads, architects, and business stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices. The focus of this role will be to build and support serverless APIs using AWS API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
Responsibilities
- Work on a team responsible for CRM Technology that includes the integration with Salesforce
- Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction
- Build and enhance cloud-native data solutions using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Event Bridge, S3, RDS (Aurora/Postgres), and S3, Step Functions, SNS/SQS, and CloudFormation
- understanding and seasoned on Web UI development using Container frameworks, Agile projects with CI/CD
- Develop end to end design for the platform, solution delivery and execution and code quality
- Collaborate with peer teams, technology platform owner, product manager/owner, enterprise architecture and platform support teams to ensure delivery of production into Production
- Assess opportunities for platform/application and process improvements.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems
- Application resiliency, scalability, and performance design
- Cultivate strong relationships with business, product, technology, and user communities to advance the Salesforce platform

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS and .Net Core, Python
- Experience with AWS services, including Glue, Lambda, EventBridge, S3, RDS (Aurora/Postgres), S3, Step Functions, SNS/SQS, and CloudFormation
- Experience building data pipelines, API-first architecture, and event-driven microservices for scalable applications
- Experience building APIs using Python on AWS Lambda behind API Gateway
- Experience with data mastering concepts such as identity resolution, source system prioritization, and golden record management
Technical Competencies
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs in Python
- Hands on Web and C#/ .Net Core Services development experience integrating multiple application platforms
- Solid background working with relational and cloud-native data stores such as Snowflake, Aurora, Postgres, MSSQL, or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred), and modern DevOps practices
- AWS certification(s) are a plus
