Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud-based solutions, and modern software development practices enhanced through AI assisted development tools. This position requires technical leadership, analytical thinking, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions that support business objectives. Key Responsibilities Software Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Java applications and services.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable microservices-based solutions.
- Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations. Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with principal engineer, solution architect, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design reviews, and architectural decision-making.
- Contribute to Agile development ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives. Performance & Optimization
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. Required Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications. Technical Expertise Core Technologies
- Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Spring Framework: o Spring Boot o Spring MVC o Spring Security
- RESTful API Development
- Microservices Architecture
- Hibernate / JPA
- PostgreSQL Development Tools
- Git and modern version control practices
- AI-assisted development tools: o GitHub Copilot o Claude AI Engineering Fundamentals
- Strong understanding of: o Design Patterns o Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with frontend technologies: o Angular o React o Modern JavaScript Frameworks
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Relevant certifications in: o Java Development o Cloud Technologies
