Title: Senior Engineer, Cloud Native AI Detection and Response
Mode of Employment : Remote
Work Timing : Japan Time
Communication : English & Japanese (Candidate is expected to be at least JLPT 2)
Responsibilities:
- Architect enterprise grade solutions that scale from thousands to millions of requests per second
- Design and implement highly scalable microservices, frameworks, and platform components
- Build reusable platform libraries to accelerate development across multiple engineering teams
- Develop comprehensive automated tests with emphasis on reliability, accuracy, and performance
- Conduct code and design reviews with strong focus on security, testability, and scalability
- Integrate services across a broad ecosystem of internal services and application programming interfaces
- Drive rapid issue resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive system improvements
- Collaborate across engineering teams to drive testing best practices
- Mentor team members on secure coding practices, testing methodologies, and cloud native development
- Deliver with speed while maintaining high standards of reliability and security
Qualifications:
- Ten or more years of software development experience building enterprise grade products
- Five or more years of experience developing microservices in cloud native environments
- Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems
- Expertise in at least one cloud native programming language such as Go, Python, or Java
- Strong debugging skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Proven experience deploying services to at least one major cloud platform including AWS, OCI, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with cloud monitoring, profiling, and optimization tools
Tools and Technologies:
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures and microservices
- Web services including REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, or similar application programming interface technologies
- Data storage technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, or comparable databases
- Container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience working for cybersecurity companies or security focused products
- Understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning security challenges and mitigation strategies
- Experience with real time data processing systems such as Kafka, Pulsar, or Splunk
- Contributions to open source libraries or frameworks
- Hands on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and application programming interface gateway technologies
- Golang development experience
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot ecosystem and Microsoft Agent Studio
- Experience building highly scalable and performant cloud native services on AWS
