Role Summary
Responsible for managing enterprise
SAN/NAS storage, backups, data protection, and supporting storage infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAN/NAS platforms (NetApp, EMC, IBM, HP).
- Handle LUN provisioning, zoning, replication, snapshots, and monitoring.
- Manage backup & recovery tools (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup).
- Support DR planning, replication, and failover testing.
- Troubleshoot storage performance issues and capacity management.
- Work with virtualization teams for datastore/storage management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, RAID.
- Experience with enterprise storage & backup solutions.
- Understanding of VMware/vSAN environments.
- Good troubleshooting and incident handling skills.
Preferred
- NetApp/EMC certifications.
- Knowledge of cloud storage (Azure/AWS).
- Scripting (PowerShell/Python).
