YOUR ROLE: A chance to make the difference.
The Sr. Engineer, Cloud Identify and Licensing Platform Systems role exists to design, build and operate the cloud-based identity, access and licensing services that enable secure, reliable use of Bluebeam products. The position focuses on developing scalable backend services on AWS, integrating with internal and external systems, and ensuring that identity and licensing capabilities meet performance, security, and availability requirements for customers and internal stakeholders. Develop high quality, efficient code for new and existing systems, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining technical excellence.
ROLES and THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in software design, development, testing, deployment
• Develop software solutions for our business systems.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, sprint refinement, and sprint retro meetings
• Document your design and code and Provide status updates regularly
• Assist in knowledge share and transfer with team
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analysing the sources of issues and the impact on service operations and quality of delivery.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher - Computer Science or equivalent field
• 5+ years of progressive experience as a Backend Engineer working in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 5+ years building high performing/data intensive applications running in the Cloud.
• 4+ years of experience with software design and architecture
• Development experience in Golang, Amazon AWS experience (Serverless, Lambda, EC2, S3)
• Experience integrating with external vendor platforms, apps, add-ons
• Knowledge or experience with identity management and licensing & entitlement systems and workflow
• Implementing and Using APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
• Experience with relational databases, writing Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
• Nice to have, experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience with terraform and infrastructure as code (iac)
• A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized.
