Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Automation with strong expertise in Injection Moulding Machines (IMM), CNC systems, PLC programming, and industrial automation. The role involves troubleshooting, programming, integration, and maintenance of automated systems in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. The candidate will also support commissioning, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic control systems of IMM, CNC, and SPM machines
• Develop, modify, and maintain Siemens PLC programs (S7-1200/1500, TIA Portal, Step 7)
• Design and support HMI applications using WinCC and Comfort Panels
• Handle integration and automation of Injection Moulding Machines
• Support automation of interior plastic components such as IP panels, consoles, and trims
• Program and troubleshoot industrial robots (Fanuc, Epson, Yaskawa, ABB)
• Work on SCADA systems and industrial data acquisition systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of automation systems
• Troubleshoot electrical panels and control circuits
• Manage industrial communication networks such as Profinet and Profibus
• Implement and maintain safety PLCs, interlocks, and safety systems
• Conduct root cause analysis and support downtime reduction initiatives
• Participate in project execution, installation, and commissioning activities
Required Qualifications & Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics
• 4–6 years of experience in automation within Tier 1 automotive plastic industries
• Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and machine troubleshooting
• Knowledge of industrial robots and automation systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of electrical systems and control panels
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation
