Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Thane
Experience: 3-5 Years
CTC: ₹3,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems, develop control panel layouts, and prepare accurate electrical drawings for industrial projects. The role involves component selection, compliance with safety standards, testing, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems as per project requirements and applicable standards.
- Create control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings using CAD tools.
- Select electrical components such as power supplies, servo drives, motors, safety relays, and circuit protection devices.
- Prepare, review, and modify electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, EMI/EMC norms, and grounding practices.
- Conduct prototype testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of control panels and power distribution systems.
- Provide technical support during project execution and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with mechanical, automation, and project teams for seamless system integration.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs and revisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design.
- Strong experience in control panels, power distribution, servo drives, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with PLC-based systems.
- Certification in electrical design or related software tools.
