Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (9+ Years Experience)
Locations: Chennai / Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with 9+ years of experience in software development, deployment, and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, and maintaining applications that drive critical business functions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of DevOps culture and practices.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications across business units.
*Design and implement significant components of enterprise applications.
*Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and bank standards.
*Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
*Provide technical direction and system architecture guidance for individual initiatives.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
*Ensure compliance with architecture frameworks and organizational standards.
*Lead and mentor large technical teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
*Support delivery of designs and implementations in alignment with business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
*9+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Linux, and Unix environments.
*Strong background in software development and system architecture.
*Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and deployment strategies.
*Solid understanding of DevOps culture, practices, and methodologies.
*Proven experience in leading large teams and providing technical direction.
*Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards, particularly in banking/financial domains.
*Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
*Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
*Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
*Exposure to monitoring tools and infrastructure automation.
*Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
