Role Description The Sr Design Engineer will lead the design and development of engineering solutions, from concept through detailed design and implementation. This full-time, on-site role is based in Navi Mumbai and involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to translate client requirements and project specifications into practical, manufacturable designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing CAD models and drawings, evaluating mechanical and electrical design feasibility, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards. The Sr Design Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to design optimization and cost-effective solutions, and support problem-solving during prototyping, testing, and installation stages.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to lead complex design projects.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles, including materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and 3D modeling software.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in architectural systems, building products, or similar engineered solutions is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and design accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple design assignments.
