About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer (Azure Databricks/Fabric/Snowflake/Power BI/SQL) to join our dynamic team as a Lead, Principal, or Architect. This is a remote position based out of Bangalore, with the opportunity to work on high-impact projects involving large-scale data pipelines, cloud data warehousing, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions in multi-cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to deliver end-to-end data solutions that enable strategic insights and operational efficiencies. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of cloud-based data engineering tools, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead technical initiatives. Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence development, or related fields.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT workflows, and data modeling concepts.
- Experience in designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines for large-scale analytics.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, with a focus on multi-cloud ecosystems.
- Proficiency in data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead technical teams and drive project delivery in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Azure Databricks to support large-scale analytics initiatives.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX formulas, data models, and Power Query transformations to enable insightful reporting.
- Implement robust ETL/ELT workflows utilizing SQL and cloud-based tools, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and security.
- Leverage Databricks for big data processing, transformation, and performance tuning in distributed environments.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Optimize data warehouse architecture and reporting performance across multi-cloud environments to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Establish and promote best practices in data governance, automation, documentation, and data quality management.
- Mentor and lead technical team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements and new solutions.
