- Ensure implementation and compliance of HSE policies, procedures, and standards across all regional operations.
- Monitor adherence to local, national, and organizational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead risk assessments and hazard identification processes to minimize workplace incidents.
- Develop and execute region-specific HSE strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Drive a strong safety culture by promoting awareness and accountability at all levels.
- Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs, including inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher sessions.
- Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and safe work practices.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on HSE-related matters.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and crisis management.
- Review contractor and vendor compliance with HSE requirements and standards.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on HSE performance and improvement initiatives
