Job Summary
Seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Workflow / SAP BTP Developer with strong expertise in SAP Workflow development, ABAP programming, integrations, and SAP BTP technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customising, and supporting automated business workflows and SAP technical solutions across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Design & Development
- Design, develop, and deploy automated workflows for business processes using SAP ABAP Workflow and SAP BTP Workflow Management / SAP Build Process Automation.
- Customize standard SAP workflow templates to meet business requirements, including event linkage, business objects, agent determination, and approval processes.
- Develop workflow extensions, event triggers, and integration flows across SAP and non-SAP applications.
SAP ABAP Development
- Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions, including RICEF objects.
- Develop and enhance:
- Reports (Classical Reports, ALV Reports)
- Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services)
- Conversions
- Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements)
- Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
- Write and optimize ABAP code for workflow logic, enhancements, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements.
SAP BTP & Integration
- Work on SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
- Develop and manage integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP services.
- Develop and consume OData Services using SAP Gateway.
- Work on REST and SOAP APIs for enterprise integrations.
Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams for requirement gathering and solution design.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
- Support implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration/conversion projects (preferred).
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Good experience in SAP Business Workflow development and customization.
- Expertise in RICEF development objects.
- Experience with OOABAP concepts and enhancement frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with IDoc, RFC, Web Services, OData, REST, and SOAP APIs.
- Experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Good understanding of SAP modules such as MM, FI, SD, HR, etc.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP Build Process Automation / SAP BTP Workflow Management.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or migration projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration concepts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
