Role Description
The Sr. Consultant Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and prescribing optical solutions, and addressing customer vision needs. The role includes educating customers on proper eye care, managing and dispensing optical products, and collaborating with the sales team to provide outstanding customer service. Supporting the adoption of the latest optical technology and maintaining high standards of care will also be key parts of this role. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in comprehensive eye exams, refraction, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Strong knowledge of contact lens fitting and advanced optical solutions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to educate patients
- Ability to work collaboratively with retail and sales teams in a customer-focused environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality optical care standards
- Recognized qualification in Optometry or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with the use of laser refractive technology is an advantage
