Job Title: Sr. CAM Engineer (Plastic Mould)
Location: Pune
Department: Tool Room / Manufacturing
Experience: Minimum 5 Years
Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Senior CAM Engineer with strong expertise in plastic mould manufacturing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in CAM programming, especially using WorkNC software, and a deep understanding of mould machining processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize CNC programs using WorkNC software.
- Handle complete CAM activities for plastic injection moulds.
- Generate tool paths for 3-axis / 5-axis CNC machining.
- Analyze CAD models and prepare machining strategies.
- Coordinate with design and production teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of machining jobs.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Strong knowledge of plastic mould manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in WorkNC CAM software.
- Good understanding of CNC machining, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD data.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Educational Qualification:- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
Preferred Candidate Profile:- Experience in plastic injection mould tool room.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
