Uncle Peter's Pancakes (UPP) is a rapidly growing Indian pancake QSR chain that began as a cloud kitchen in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, in 2019. The brand aims to bring the essence of pancake culture to India, offering a variety of both sweet and savory options tailored to the Indian palate. UPP has expanded to over 80+ outlets across 30 cities. The brand has been featured on Shark Tank India Season 3, highlighting its innovative approach and rapid growth. With plans to open over 500 stores across India in the next three years, Uncle Peter’s Pancakes is on a mission to make pancakes a staple in Indian cuisine.
Overview:
The Business Development Senior Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing potential partnerships, and driving revenue growth through structured lead generation and conversion strategies. The role requires strong business understanding, relationship management skills, and the ability to represent the organization professionally in external engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and source prospective business partners and franchise opportunities.
• Maintain and manage the pipeline of potential business leads.
• Follow up on leads generated through various platforms and networking channels.
• Present the business model, proposals, and investment opportunities to potential partners.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle including negotiation and closure.
• Build and strengthen market presence within assigned territories.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth onboarding and execution.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and partner meetings as required. Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to handle objections and close deals
• Strong relationship management capability
Experience & Qualification:
• 2–5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Franchise Development or similar roles
• Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
