Job Description: Billing Analyst
Experience: 4-5yrs
Location: Bangalore, India
Reporting to: Sr Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing sales orders daily for ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Reconcile POs on a monthly basis and manage customer accounts.
- Proactively address customer queries and resolve any billing queries or discrepancies.
- Issue invoices via email and on online customer portals.
- Keep track of accounts receivable and transactions.
- Process credit memos after obtaining internal approvals.
- Diligently follow up on all unbilled/backlog contracts with respective stakeholders to ensure that sale orders are billed.
- Collaborate with sales and customer support teams while analyzing billing data to identify potential issues and optimize revenue streams within the SaaS platform, all while adhering to company policies and billing.
- Provide audit support and assist in process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams effectively.
- Ability to read contracts/agreements and identify pertinent terms in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure to maintain accuracy of data and confidentiality.
- Recommend efficiency and effectiveness enhancements.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner to avoid any discrepancies.
Requirements
- BCom Graduate
- Knowledge & firsthand experience of subscription billing is mandatory.
- 2+ years of experience as Billing Analyst/Associate.
- Knowledge of ERP system functionality; Net Suite and Salesforce knowledge is required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
