This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Bench Sales Recruiter in India.
This role is focused on driving revenue and consultant placement success within the US IT staffing ecosystem by actively marketing bench resources to vendors and clients. You will play a key role in connecting IT consultants with suitable contract opportunities across technologies such as cloud, DevOps, data engineering, cybersecurity, and AI/ML. The position requires strong market awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, implementation partners, and staffing agencies in the US market. You will manage the full bench sales lifecycle, ensuring consultants are effectively positioned, submitted, and placed in suitable roles. This is a fast-paced, target-driven environment where performance, speed, and relationship-building are critical. The role is ideal for professionals who thrive in US IT staffing and enjoy working in highly competitive, results-oriented settings.
Accountabilities
- Market and promote IT consultants across the US staffing ecosystem, identifying suitable contract opportunities aligned with their skills and experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prime vendors, implementation partners, and staffing agencies to generate consistent job opportunities.
- Manage the full bench sales lifecycle, including submissions, follow-ups, interview coordination, negotiations, and successful placements.
- Negotiate billing rates, contract terms, and client requirements to maximize placement success and revenue generation.
- Maintain and update consultant profiles, availability, resumes, and job readiness status across multiple channels.
- Work closely with recruiters and account managers to match consultants with relevant roles across technologies and industries.
- Track daily activities including submissions, interviews, and placements to ensure performance targets are consistently met.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in US Bench Sales or US IT Staffing with a strong understanding of the American recruitment ecosystem.
- Proven experience working with job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
- Strong vendor network across the US staffing market, including implementation partners and direct clients.
- Solid understanding of US visa types such as H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, and USC.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong performance accountability.
- Experience handling multiple consultants and managing parallel opportunities efficiently.
