About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Shiji Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining a distributed technology platform that supports a wide array of hospitality operations, including hotels, restaurants, spas, and golf facilities. Your work will directly influence the stability, scalability, and usability of our products, which are used by thousands of hospitality professionals globally. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of professional experience in software development, particularly within distributed systems and domain-driven design. Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework is essential, along with a solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and microservices architecture. Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, and cloud-based multi-region deployment is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with Docker, Linux basics, and collaborative development workflows using Git. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards code quality and testing are crucial. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required to effectively communicate within our global team. Candidates should also be open-minded, eager to share knowledge, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at Shiji Group, your responsibilities will include understanding and translating functional requirements into high-quality software features. You will work within an agile Scrum framework, participating in sprints, grooming sessions, planning, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement. Your tasks will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining microservices-based solutions, writing clean, testable, and maintainable code, and ensuring adherence to best practices and design principles. You will actively participate in code reviews, contribute to the development infrastructure, and help optimize tooling used by the team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to solution design and technical decision-making, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning. Additionally, you will work with microservices deployed across multiple regions in a cloud environment, ensuring high availability and performance of our systems.
