📋 Role Overview
- Design, develop, and deliver solutions to migrate data from SQL Server to Databricks
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Apache Spark and Airflow
- Work with Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture
- Develop and manage data marts and warehouses using Star/Snowflake schemas
- Drive enterprise database design and implementation using MS SQL / Azure SQL
- Participate in rapid prototyping, POC development, and release planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions
🔧 Must-Have Skills
- Databricks, Apache Spark & Airflow
- MS SQL Server & Azure SQL
- Data Lake & Delta Lake
- DBT Cloud & Unity Catalog
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- 5+ years in advanced SQL – stored procedures, views, triggers, performance tuning, DDL/DML
- Data Migration experience
⭐ Good to Have
- Lakehouse architecture experience
- Working knowledge of Web API, REST & JSON
- Experience with source/version control systems and branching strategies
- Unit testing experience
