Role Description The Sr. AVEVA P&ID Engineer will be responsible for developing, modifying, and reviewing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using AVEVA tools for various industrial and process projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating P&IDs based on process data and engineering inputs, ensuring compliance with project standards and industry codes, coordinating with process, mechanical, and instrumentation teams, and resolving design inconsistencies. The role also involves maintaining project documentation, supporting model reviews, and providing technical guidance to junior team members. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in AVEVA P&ID or AVEVA Diagrams, including setup, customization, and efficient use of the software for complex projects.
- Solid understanding of piping and instrumentation design principles, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and related engineering documentation.
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant industry standards and codes for piping, instrumentation, and process systems.
- Proficiency in general CAD and engineering design tools commonly used in piping and process engineering.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency across multiple project deliverables.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers and designers on P&ID practices and software usage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent). Relevant industry experience in process, oil & gas, power, or similar sectors is highly beneficial.
