Senior Associate Counsel – Family Law & Civil Litigation

Position
We are looking for a Senior Associate Counsel with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience who is passionate about litigation and capable of independently handling matters before trial courts and assisting in High Court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
Independently handle family law matters including divorce, child custody, maintenance, domestic violence, guardianship, and matrimonial disputes.
Conduct criminal litigation arising from family disputes, including matters under the IPC/BNS, Dowry Prohibition Act, POCSO (where applicable), and related statutes.
Handle civil litigation, including injunctions, recovery suits, property disputes, execution proceedings, and miscellaneous applications.
Draft plaints, written statements, petitions, affidavits, applications, appeals, revisions, legal notices, and written submissions.
Appear before Family Courts, Civil Courts, Magistrate Courts, Sessions Courts, and other judicial forums.
Assist and argue matters before the High Court. Prior High Court exposure will be an added advantage.
Conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, brief senior counsel, and maintain comprehensive case records.
Interact with clients professionally and provide strategic legal advice while maintaining confidentiality.
Coordinate with clients, court staff, and internal teams to ensure timely progress of matters.
Candidate Profile
LL.B. from a recognized university.
Enrolled with the Bar Council.
3–5 years of litigation experience in Family Law, Criminal Litigation relating to family disputes, and Civil Litigation.
Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills.
High Court exposure is desirable.
Ability to independently manage case files and court appearances.
Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
