Role Description The Sr Analyst – Analytical Lab Ion Chromatography is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The role involves independently planning and performing ion chromatography analyses for various matrices, including pharmaceutical, environmental, food, and water samples, following validated methods and regulatory guidelines. Daily responsibilities include sample preparation, instrument setup and calibration, running analyses, interpreting chromatograms, and documenting results in accordance with quality and compliance requirements. The Sr Analyst will troubleshoot instrumentation issues, maintain laboratory equipment, support method development or optimization, and assist in training and mentoring junior team members. The role also requires close collaboration with quality assurance teams and client coordinators to ensure timely, accurate reporting and adherence to internal SOPs and external regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, method execution, and adherence to SOPs in an analytical testing environment.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, such as data interpretation, chromatogram review, and problem-solving in ion chromatography and related techniques.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control expertise, including routine checks, validation support, and ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Laboratory Equipment, particularly ion chromatography systems, along with maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting abilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance knowledge, including documentation practices, compliance with NABL and regulatory standards, and participation in audits.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Beneficial experience includes 3+ years in an analytical laboratory, preferably in ion chromatography, and familiarity with GLP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines (FSSAI, BIS, WHO, ICH, EPA).
- Additional desirable skills include strong communication, attention to detail, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and proficiency in laboratory information management systems
