About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer / Tech Lead specializing in Azure AI to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of designing and implementing scalable, real-time AI systems utilizing Microsoft Azure's comprehensive suite of AI services. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing advanced speech recognition and natural language processing solutions, ensuring high performance, low latency, and robust integration with client systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and clients, to deliver innovative AI-driven products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior team members, and shape the future of AI solutions within our organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in AI/ML, backend development, or distributed systems. A strong proficiency in Python is essential, along with solid experience in system design and architecture. Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure's AI services, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure is required. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of building production-grade, scalable, real-time systems with low latency. Knowledge of NLP pipelines, search and indexing systems, and microservices architecture is critical. Excellent communication skills and experience in client-facing roles are highly desirable, as this role involves direct interaction with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, low-latency AI systems leveraging Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize speech-to-text solutions, including automatic speech recognition (ASR), keyword detection, and semantic search functionalities.
- Create Python-based microservices and real-time data pipelines utilizing Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus, and related services.
- Implement efficient search and indexing solutions using Azure Cognitive Search to enable fast and relevant information retrieval.
- Lead client discussions, gather requirements, and present technical solutions through demos and presentations.
- Mentor and guide team members, ensuring adherence to best practices, code quality, and scalable architecture.
- Manage deployment pipelines, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and monitor system performance on Azure platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into existing client systems.
