Sr Advanced Software Architect (G04196)
Engineering Aerospace - ANTHEM (Network Switch Tools)
As a Sr Advanced Software Architect - Engineering Aerospace - ANTHEM, you will be responsible for leading the architectural design and innovation for the tooling solutions in the ANTHEM. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of software development within Honeywell and contribute to the delivery of innovative and reliable products in the aerospace industry.
You will collaborate closely with business leaders, Lead Architects and other technology teams to align our architecture with strategic business goals and industry best practices. Your insights and expertise will be pivotal in identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and ensuring the scalability, security, and compliance of our technology solutions. Responsibilities
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the architectural design and innovation across ANTHEM tools and HARMONIC Tool Integration.
- Collaborate with business leaders and technology teams to align architecture with strategic business goals
- Identify architectural opportunities and address challenges to drive innovation
- Evaluate and select technology solutions to ensure scalability, security, and compliance
- Provide guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert in enterprise architecture
- Drive innovation activities like IP sprints in their LOB/release trains and provide guidance to the teams
- Work with customers for co-innovation opportunities
- Work with Senior Architect to support Technology Stack selection based on product requirements.
- Incorporate security as an integral part of design and have security controls in place
- Ensure Data Protection and Privacy to meet Compliance and Legal Considerations when operationalizing software.
- Should be seen as domain expert in the domain they are working on.
- Key interest in industry forums, customer VOCs, perform competition teardown analysis for their product line, understand various personas using the products or being impacted by the products, joint workshops with customers etc.
- Understand various Go-to market strategies and how Honeywell generates revenue from the products.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 10+ years of expertise in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and secure solutions
- Expert level C/C++, , Advanced Data structures, Design Patterns, Algorithm development, Multi-Threading, Debugging etc.
- Strong knowledge of Avionics Communication protocols, Network configurations, HARMONIC Integration, etc
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, security, and data management.
- Deep expertise in Operating System Concepts, Internals, memory management, Threading, Networking, communication protocols, Cloud Computing, Micro-Services, Service Oriented Architecture etc.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical and business impact of security risks to CTO/other stakeholders and propose mitigation plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of EPIC product architecture, Anthem Tools, Thunderbolt platform preferred.
