Role Description :
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr Accounts Manager based in the Mysore division. The Sr Accounts Manager will oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing. The role involves preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, monitoring project-wise cost and revenue recognition, and ensuring timely statutory compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements. The Sr Accounts Manager will collaborate closely with project, procurement, and manufacturing teams to track project profitability, manage cash flows, and support commercial decisions. The position also includes leading and mentoring the accounts team, coordinating internal and external audits, improving financial processes and controls, and providing management with accurate financial reports and analysis.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and finalization of accounts.
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and project cost tracking.
- Knowledge of taxation and compliance, such as GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory obligations relevant to EPC and manufacturing operations.
- Experience working with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort with digital documentation and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor an accounts team, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
