As part of our growing retail network, we require a detail-oriented and execution-focused Senior Accounts Executive to manage branch-level accounting, statutory compliance, and financial controls with accuracy and accountability.
Position Overview
The Sr. Accounts Executive will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, branch coordination, statutory compliances, reconciliations, and MIS reporting. This role demands strong hands-on accounting knowledge, control over timelines, and zero tolerance for errors.
Key Responsibilities-
- Maintain and update internal databases with 100% accuracy and consistency.
- Handle bank updates and regular coordination with banks.
- Manage accounting operations for multiple branches.
- Conduct and support stock audits and ensure variance resolution.
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within timelines.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Manage TDS calculation and payment.
- Prepare financial summaries for management review.
- Maintain petty cash records and balance sheet support schedules.
- Handle credit card accounting and reconciliation.
- Verify and process expense bills.
- Execute payments through online transfers and cheques.
- Manage ESIC and PF compliance and coordination.
- Oversee salary distribution and related accounting entries.
- Perform ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Post and verify vendor and expense bills.
- Handle GST reconciliation (returns vs books).
- Prepare and share MIS reports as per defined timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications-
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting.
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting processes and compliance.
- Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and reconciliations.
- Ability to manage branch-level accounting independently.
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines without supervision.
Experience-
4–5 years of relevant experience as an Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive in retail or multi-branch operations.
