Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Gurugram. The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation of financial statements, maintain accurate records, and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial discrepancies, reviewing expense records, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closing processes. The Senior Accountant will also work closely with various departments to support financial decision-making and ensure effective budget management.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally, ZOHO or similar platforms
- Skills in reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in the trading or metals industry
