Job Summary
We are hiring a
Sr. Accountant (GST) to manage accounting operations and GST compliance for a reputed agro-chemical manufacturing company in Raipur. The role requires strong expertise in Tally, taxation, and statutory filings, along with the ability to oversee day-to-day financial transactions and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP software
- Ensure accurate GST calculation, filing, and compliance with statutory deadlines
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and MIS reports
- Handle vendor invoices, purchase entries, and payment processing
- Maintain records for taxation, audits, and statutory compliance
- Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for GST and tax matters
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial documentation
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA(Inter) qualification (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with GST specialization
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS-Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong knowledge of GST laws, taxation, and compliance procedures
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting functions in a manufacturing environment
