Job Title: Senior Accountant

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and accounts.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/CPA preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
