SquarePeg is a venture-backed, seed-stage B2B SaaS startup at the forefront of the Future of Work, with an established product in the market serving over 50 customers. This year we raised a fresh round of capital to bring a brand new AI product to market.
We are growing our engineering team and looking for a talented Sr Full Stack Engineer. This is an incredibly exciting time to join SquarePeg as we are building and launching a new product, and have some large new features in our roadmap over the next 12 months.
You will work alongside a team of 5-7 engineers across the US and Europe. You will get to contribute to important technical decisions and critical decisions that shape the future of our platform and new product suites.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software with a focus on quality, code reuse, readability, and stability
- Ensure robust architecture by following best practices and guidelines throughout the entire tech stack
- Conduct code reviews to make sure new code is error-free and conforms to established guidelines
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure the application works across multiple devices and browsers
- Implement development best practices for building, testing, and deploying code
- Work closely with our design team to ensure good UI/UX
- Keep up-to-date with engineering trends; evaluate and adopt new technologies / tools / processes to improve productivity and functionality
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a scaling tech startup
- Experience working on complex web apps, preferably SaaS
- 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer
- Strong foundations in OOP and strongly typed languages
- A good sense of software architecture
- Preferred: Proficiency with TypeScript and Angular
- Preferred: Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot
- Nice to have: Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure
- Good understanding of UI/UX
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and ambition
- Must be in the US or have the ability to work in those time zones
