Software Developer In Test (SDET)

My client is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Job Responsibilities/Objectives 1. Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. 2. Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. 3. Will have an impact on the work of related teams within the area. 4. Partner with other functions and business areas. 5. Takes responsibility for end results of a team's operational processing and activities. 6. Escalate breaches of policies/procedure appropriately. 7. Take responsibility for embedding new policies/procedures adopted due to risk mitigation. 8. Advise and influence decision making within own area of expertise. 9. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to. Deliver your work and areas of responsibility in line with relevant rules, regulation and codes of conduct. Required Skills/Experience 1. PACT Framework 2. Experience on SDETs 3. Experience with Java, APi Gateway, Microservices, Springboot 4. Should have good understanding of OOPS, Core JAVA, Advance JAVA 5. Hands on experience with REST API, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC is must 6. Basic Understanding of Microservices based Architecture and Design Patterns 7. Other Technologies/Tools - Maven, Gradle, SOAP, Junit, Oracle, Jenkins, Nexus, Jboss/Tomcat, Git, Linux/UNIX Shell scripting, JIRA, Exec API 8. Exposure to cloud platforms such as Openshift V3, AWS or Spring Cloud etc. (preferable)
