Role Overview:
We are looking for a SQL Developer Intern who is interested in working with databases, data querying, and data management systems. This role provides hands-on experience in handling structured data and supporting analytics workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
• Assist in designing and managing database structures
• Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy
• Support database performance tuning and query optimization
• Collaborate with analysts and developers for data requirements
• Generate reports and assist in dashboard data preparation
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across systems
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Basic knowledge of database design and normalization
• Understanding of joins, indexing, and query optimization
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to database-related academic or personal projects
• Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools
• Basic understanding of ETL processes
