About The Role
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, along with hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and C#/.NET technologies. This role involves developing robust database solutions, managing data integration processes, and creating insightful reports to support various business functions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, accuracy, and performance, contributing significantly to our clients’ digital transformation efforts.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server, with advanced knowledge of complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions. Proven experience in query performance tuning and optimization is essential. The role requires solid programming experience in C# and .NET (Framework or .NET Core/.NET 6+). A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience in SQL development, ETL processes, and .NET technologies. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support business requirements.
- Optimize query performance through indexing, execution plan analysis, and tuning techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Develop and manage SSIS packages for ETL processes, data integration, and data migration activities.
- Create, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database logic with C#/.NET applications, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Analyze large datasets to verify data accuracy, consistency, and performance, identifying and resolving data anomalies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both production and development environments to minimize downtime.
- Participate in database design, schema creation, and data modeling to support scalable and efficient systems.
- Support data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Document technical designs, processes, and data flows to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
