Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex queries, along with hands-on experience in SSIS, SSRS, and C#/.NET technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust database solutions, data integration processes, and reporting systems to support business needs.
About The Role
The SQL Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure data integrity, performance, and security. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, develop solutions, and deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards. The candidate will be instrumental in optimizing existing queries and developing new ones to enhance system efficiency. Additionally, the role requires integrating database logic with C#/.NET applications, supporting data migration activities, and troubleshooting database issues to ensure smooth operations. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leveraging your technical expertise to drive business success and contribute to innovative projects.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, demonstrating advanced knowledge of complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions. Proven expertise in query performance tuning and optimization is essential. Candidates should have experience with SSIS for ETL development and SSRS for reporting and visualization. Solid programming experience in C# and .NET (Framework or .NET Core/.NET 6+) is required, along with a strong understanding of relational database concepts and normalization. Experience working with large and complex datasets, along with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, is critical. A minimum of 4+ years of experience in SQL development, ETL, and .NET technologies is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support business operations.
- Optimize query performance through indexing, execution plan analysis, and tuning techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Develop and manage SSIS packages for ETL processes, data integration, and transformation activities.
- Create, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards to provide insightful data visualization.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database logic with C#/.NET applications, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Analyze large datasets to verify data accuracy, consistency, and performance, providing insights for decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both production and development environments promptly.
- Participate in database design, schema creation, and data modeling activities to support business requirements.
- Support data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities to ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
- Document technical designs, processes, data flows, and best practices to maintain comprehensive records for future reference.
