About The Role
The SQL Developer role at Droisys is a critical position aimed at enhancing our data management and reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support various business functions. This role requires a proactive approach to optimize database performance, ensure data accuracy, and facilitate seamless data integration across systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SQL Server technologies, along with hands-on experience in SSIS, SSRS, and C#/.NET development. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including application developers and data analysts, is essential to deliver scalable and efficient database solutions that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
- Proven expertise in query performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for designing and managing ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for creating and deploying reports and dashboards.
- Solid programming experience in C# and .NET (Framework or .NET Core/.NET 6+).
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data normalization, and schema design.
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data models.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in SQL development, ETL processes, and .NET technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to meet business requirements.
- Optimize query performance through indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and tuning techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Develop, test, and manage SSIS packages for robust ETL processes, facilitating seamless data integration from multiple sources.
- Create, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database logic with C#/.NET applications, ensuring data consistency and performance.
- Analyze large datasets to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both production and development environments promptly.
- Participate in database schema design, data modeling, and schema creation to support application needs.
- Support data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities to facilitate system upgrades and data quality initiatives.
- Document technical designs, data flows, and processes to maintain comprehensive system records and facilitate future enhancements.
