About The Role
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, along with hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and C#/.NET technologies. This role is pivotal in developing robust database solutions, data integration processes, and reporting systems that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance, supporting the company's digital transformation initiatives.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely while contributing to innovative projects that impact various business operations. The position demands a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of managing large datasets and ensuring high-quality deliverables within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, demonstrating advanced knowledge of complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions. Proven expertise in query performance tuning and optimization is essential. Additionally, experience with SSIS for ETL development and SSRS for reporting and visualization is required. The role also necessitates solid programming skills in C# and .NET (Framework or .NET Core/.NET 6+), along with a thorough understanding of relational database concepts and normalization.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with large and complex datasets, along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in SQL development, ETL processes, and .NET technologies is expected. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support various business applications.
- Optimize query performance through indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and tuning techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Develop and manage SSIS packages for ETL processes, ensuring seamless data integration from multiple sources.
- Create, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards to facilitate data visualization and decision-making.
- Collaborate with application teams to integrate database logic within C#/.NET applications, ensuring consistency and performance.
- Analyze large datasets to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both production and development environments promptly.
- Participate in database design, schema creation, and data modeling activities to support new and existing projects.
- Support data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities to ensure high data quality standards.
- Document technical designs, processes, and data flows to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
