About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. In this role, you will collaborate closely with application development teams to integrate complex database logic into business applications, particularly within finance-related projects. The Senior SQL Developer will play a crucial part in enhancing our data infrastructure, optimizing queries, and ensuring that our database systems are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server development. A strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies is essential. Candidates should have proven expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Knowledge of RESTful API development and LINQ is highly desirable. A background in finance will be considered an advantage, as it aligns with our core project domains. Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
Responsibilities

- Optimize complex SQL queries to improve database performance, reliability, and scalability, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements proactively.
- Participate in database schema design, normalization processes, and indexing strategies to enhance data retrieval and storage efficiency.
- Maintain documentation related to database architecture, procedures, and best practices for team reference and compliance audits.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SQL Server technologies, applying relevant innovations to improve existing systems.
