About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database development, with a strong focus on writing efficient, scalable, and reliable PL/SQL code. This role involves supporting our ongoing data migration and optimization initiatives, ensuring seamless data integration across multiple systems. As a key member of our data management team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand complex data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that enhance our data infrastructure. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a solid background in Oracle PL/SQL development, with proven experience in building and maintaining complex database objects. A strong understanding of SQL performance tuning and query optimization techniques is essential. Candidates should have knowledge of ETL best practices, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling, including star schema design. Experience with data migration projects and troubleshooting complex data issues is highly valued. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in collaborative team environments will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support various data processing needs.
- Support and execute data migration and integration projects across multiple source systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity throughout the process.
- Perform SQL tuning and optimize data processing and loading performance to improve overall system efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, integration, and database performance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data accuracy.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing to uphold coding standards and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle database features and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.
