Role : Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in
SQL, ETL processes, Power BI, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), along with solid
knowledge of the US Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate should also have
effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and interact with clients
when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and
database solutions.
Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for data-driven
decision-making.
Work with cloud-based data architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and
performance.
Analyze and work with US healthcare datasets (claims, providers, eligibility,
etc.).
Ensure high data quality, governance, and compliance standards.
Participate in client interactions, including requirement gathering, discussions,
and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 4 years in software engineering / data engineering roles.
Strong SQL Expertise: Advanced querying, performance tuning, indexing, and
data modeling.
ETL Experience: Hands-on in developing ETL pipelines (e.g., Informatica, SSIS,
Talend, or cloud-native tools like Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue).
Power BI (PBI): Strong experience in dashboards, DAX, and data visualization.
Cloud Platforms (MANDATORY): Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS,
including data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, AWS Glue, Redshift,
etc.).
US Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data models
and workflows.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams
and clients.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.)
Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Databricks, etc.)
Scripting experience (Python, Shell, etc.) for data processing
Exposure to data governance and security standards
