About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
SQL Developer with 7-10 years of professional experience specializing in
Microsoft SQL Server. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions that ensure
data reliability, performance, and scalability across our systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and data pipeline development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, contributing significantly to our data-driven transformation initiatives.
This position offers an opportunity to work on complex data systems, enhance data infrastructure, and support strategic decision-making processes through innovative data engineering practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a
bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A
master's degree (MCA / M.Tech) is preferred, along with relevant certifications in SQL Server, Data Engineering, or Cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS will be considered an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate a strong foundation in SQL Server database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with a focus on scalable and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Core SQL Engineering: Develop and maintain high-performance stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers. Build scalable and reusable SQL components while ensuring robust database design for optimal performance and maintainability.
- Database Performance Engineering: Perform query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, continuously tuning database systems for efficiency.
- Replication & Data Synchronization: Manage SQL Server Replication (Transactional, Merge, Snapshot). Ensure high availability and data consistency across systems, troubleshoot replication issues, and address latency challenges.
- Data Pipeline Engineering (ETL/ELT): Design and develop scalable data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources into centralized platforms. Optimize pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Data Warehousing & Architecture: Design and maintain data warehouse structures such as star and snowflake schemas. Contribute to scalable data architecture and frameworks for data integration and reporting.
- Automation & Reliability: Automate database monitoring and maintenance tasks. Implement logging, alerting, and issue detection mechanisms to ensure system stability. Manage backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.
- Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Application teams. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
